Consumer Reports Names Prius, Sienna and RAV 4 “Top Picks.” Toyota was the only automaker to have three vehicles make the list.
The automaker led the entire industry with three vehicles on the list, while no other company had more than one. Also notable: The Toyota Corolla was recognized by CR as one of the “Best vehicles under $20,000” and honored as among the vehicles with the lowest five-year ownership costs, along with the Toyota Matrix.
Consumer Reports results are drawn from more than 50 separate tests—in areas like braking, handling, comfort, convenience, safety and fuel economy—as well as approximately 6,000 miles of driving by CR vehicle experts. For more details, see the April issue of Consumer Reports.
